"When this client came to us, the image of his office was very much clear in his mind. He wanted a creative office with the most modern techniques in interiors .

Here, we decided to bring some freshness and colour to this formal profession of accountancy which is full of numbers and excel sheets. So the idea was the office space should bring some excitement in their routine office work and one should feel attached to this space. Also, we had to be careful with not using too many colours or elements which will may create visual disturbance."

Project History

Commencement: January 2019

Operations: February 2019

Occupancy: June 2019

Project scope:

As this project started during the crucial period of tax audit, our involvement was right from concept till execution stage.

Scope:

Concept design, Schematic designs, Design Development, Working drawings and site execution

Carpet area: 850 sqft

Orientation: North-south

Built up area: 950 sqft

Circulation space: 15%

Common areas:10%

Concept note :

Our client needed an office which is fresh in appearance with maximum seating capacity.

The planning plays an important role in this project where central space is a big open workstation area which accommodates all his staff. All other functions are planned around this central space. This area also helps to bring the light inside the office through full height glass partitions.

The conference room is planned adjacent to the reception so that the guests need not enter inside the workstation area. This arrangement offers privacy for the workstation area as well as main cabin.

Project economics : 25 Lacs

Constraints

This office has only window located at South –west corner. As per vastu the obvious option to have Director’s cabin was at South-West corner. This may have resulted into lack of light in other areas. The use of full height clear glass partitions helped us to bring the light deep inside the office through the cabin space.

Special features

We mainly focused on the use of fresh colors and minimal use of veneers and brown laminates. The entire interior is based around white, grey, black and teal blue to break the monotony.

The entrance wall which is made with the combination of exposed concrete texture and veneer is the primary attraction at the entrance. The circular opening made in this wall gives a glimpse of the office space inside.
